AH, Moorea the sweet!! Just a half-hour by boat separates it from Tahiti, and it is the perfect weekend destination for Tahitians. Along with Tahiti, Maiao, Mahetia, and Tetiaroa, Moorea belongs to the windward islands in French Polynesia.
