Service: Restringing Your Cultured Pearl Necklace

Expert craftsmanship to restore the brilliance and security of your pearls

Poemotu offers a cultured pearl necklace restringing service, carried out with traditional craftsmanship by a recognized pearl specialist. Each necklace is cleaned, inspected, and then hand-knotted on doubled silk thread, with a knot between each pearl to ensure flexibility and durability. Every step is carried out with meticulous care to preserve the beauty and value of your pearls.

Choose from three lengths: • Choker necklace – 42 cm • Princess length – 42 to 50 cm • Long sautoir – 90 cm

Each service includes: • Hand restringing with knots between each pearl on doubled silk thread • Cleaning of cultured pearls and clasp • Placement of two French wire protectors (bullion tubes) at each end to protect the silk thread and ensure a neat finish

Before sending your necklace:

Choose the service corresponding to your necklace length. Ship your necklace in a protected and insured package to the following address, accompanied by your payment receipt:

Special conditions: If drilling is required due to a hole being too narrow for the thread, an additional charge of €2 per pearl will apply. You will be notified before any modification. Poemotu cannot be held responsible for any pearl damage resulting from necessary drilling.

If your necklace has a clasp, it will be inspected.

In case of damage or wear, we will provide you with a quote for replacement with a suitable clasp.
