2. Reception and Assessment

Once we receive your jewelry, we proceed with the appraisal: We check the quality, the authenticity of the pearls, the general condition, etc.

10-day timeframe : Within ten days, you will receive three offers:

• Immediate Takeover Offer (direct purchase): Lowest amount, because Poemotu invests immediately.
• Poemotu Voucher : An amount greater than the trade-in offer, valid on our e-shop.
• Consignment Sale : Potentially the most financially advantageous offer, since Poemotu does not invest before resale.

If you accept one of these offers, you will sign an agreement specifying the exact terms (direct purchase, voucher or consignment sale).

3. Validation and Payment Agreement Signed : Once the offer is chosen, we will send you a document to sign to formalize the transaction.

Payment Methods :

• Direct purchase : Payment is made by bank transfer at the time of the takeover.
• Consignment Sale : Payment is made at the time of resale, according to the agreed terms.
• Gift Voucher : You will receive the code corresponding to the determined value, to be used on the Poemotu website.
• Amount of €8 added to the final amount : In case of agreement, a flat fee of €8 is added to compensate for any delayed reimbursement of return costs (which Poemotu would not have to make).

4. Responsibility and Security of Jewelry :

• In the case of consignment sales , Poemotu is responsible for the items entrusted to them and ensures their security until resale or return to the owner.
• In the context of a direct acquisition , Poemotu's responsibility begins as soon as the transaction is validated.
• Right of Refusal : Poemotu reserves the right, without obligation to provide an explanation, to refuse to accept the return of your jewelry (if its condition, authenticity, or any other element does not meet our criteria). In this case, the jewelry will be returned to you at our expense, covered by the amount already paid.
